Cookie Policy
Version 2026-07 · Effective July 2026
What Is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Browser storage (such as localStorage) is similar and stays on your device. This policy covers both.
What We Use and Why
Session cookies — required for login
When you log in, our authentication provider (Supabase) sets session cookies so you stay signed in securely.
Browser storage — quote list and preferences
Anonymous quote lists and a few admin/portal UI preferences are stored in your browser. They are not sent to our servers unless you submit a quote or save an account setting.
Cookie notice dismissal
When you dismiss the cookie notice, we store that choice in localStorage so the banner does not keep returning. A new published Cookie Policy version may show the notice again.
What We Do Not Use
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or third-party marketing pixels.
Managing Cookies
You can clear cookies and site data in your browser. If you clear session cookies you will need to sign in again. Clearing localStorage removes an anonymous quote list and the cookie-notice dismissal.
Changes
The Cookie Policy can be updated from Organization → Legal. A newly published version is shown on this page. The site may show the cookie notice again after a material change.
